The Truth... What is it?

Another Special Life in Christ

These testimony lives are not stories of "role models". Jesus is the role model!
These are lives wonderfully touched & changed by Jesus!

Mark Vincent: a 2017 miracle (this was his Face Book post 8 days after we saw Mark at a very nice party):

"(O Lord, my God) We proclaim how great that You are and tell of the wonderful things You have done (Psalms 75:1)!"

"I will give you a heads up, this post is lengthy, and it is the busiest week of the year! Who has got time to read it, right? If your schedule does allow you to read this post, I hope that you will hear our heartfelt thanks and my additional request for prayer."

"I reached my twentieth year at Palmetto Health [Columbia, S. C.] this past April. Eleven of those years have been in Clinical Informatics at all three hospitals. I have assisted/trained physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and residents on the Electronic Medical Record. Throughout the years, I have continued to staff on the patient care floor because I don’t want to ever forget how truly challenging it can be to do floor nursing."

"This past Monday, I had heartburn after lunch, something uncommon, but I took an antacid and rolled on. After I had to finish my primary job, I clocked in, just like I have done hundreds of times before. Less than three hours into my shift. I was admitting a patient on our floor. While standing in the patient’s room, I began to feel a wave of nausea and began to sweat profusely. I excused myself from the patient’s room and returned to the nurse’s station. Our great staff got me into a wheelchair and took me immediately down the four floors to our Emergency Department."

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you (Isaiah 43:2). Our Palmetto Baptist Emergency Department staff members were incredible! They sprang into action and immediately provided excellent care for me. They confirmed my fears: I was having a heart attack. The Emergency Department Team quickly stabilized me and loaded me into the ambulance for transport over to the Cath Lab at Palmetto Richland. There, Dr. Vince Vismara with Palmetto Heart and the incredible Cath Lab Team were ready for me. With much encouragement from them and three stents later, I was in a hospital room."

"Wednesday, Robin drove me home. I have often told our children, Julia-Grace and Kyle, that every day for me is Christmas! I have felt that way this week and especially today, one week out. I have spent much time rejoicing this past week. I have a beating heart! More importantly, I have a personal relationship with a Christ that has chosen at least for now, for me to be here, living and breathing."

"If you have managed to read this far, thanks for bearing with me. Please, please join me in lifting my brother, Ralph Vincent up in prayer. He had a heart attack this past Saturday. He will have cardiac bypass surgery this Wednesday. He will need to be in the hospital five-seven days after surgery. He is a Godly man, loved by many. I am praying for complete healing for him."

"Psalms 59:17 = O my strength, I will sing praises to You! For God is my stronghold, the God who (has) shown me loving kindness. I wish you all an incredible Merry Christmas!"
