My daughter writes: "I had the pleasure of meeting Bro. Wayne in January 2011. He attended a Missions Conference at my church (Joel Baptist Church, Lexington County, S. C.).  His pastor (visiting us), Barry Spears, shared some of Bro. Wayne's testimony with the congregation.  After the service, I introduced myself to Bro. Wayne and asked if he would be willing to share his testimony and allow me to post it on my dad's website.  I received his testimony by email today (2.8.11).  What a blessing!"

Summary of Wayne's email: For many years drugs and alcohol were a daily part of Wayne's life.  As a result, he hurt members of his family, lied, robbed, and spent time in jail.  One day, while intoxicated, he began to reflect on his life and all of the bad things that he had done.  He was ready to end it all and then there was a knock at his door...

Bro. Wayne was saved by grace!  He is now a faithful member of his church, an usher, choir singer, and has been called to preach.  Amen!
